My favourite locations are diverse and often challenging. I've trekked through dense rainforests in Southeast Asia, where the humidity was relentless and the challenge was navigating treacherous terrain. I've scaled snow-covered peaks in the Rockies, the biting cold a constant companion. And I've wandered through the sun-drenched deserts of the Southwest, the stark beauty both awe-inspiring and demanding of meticulous preparation. Each environment presents its unique photographic challenges and rewards, requiring adaptability, resilience, and a deep respect for the natural world.

The preparation for a mountain photography expedition is as important as the expedition itself. Thorough research is crucial. I study maps, weather forecasts, and trail conditions, planning my routes meticulously to ensure safety and access to the best photographic opportunities. I meticulously pack my gear, considering not only the weight but also the potential for weather changes. This careful preparation allows me to focus on the creative aspects of my work once I’m on the trail.

While the technical aspects are important, it's the artistic vision that truly drives my work. I strive to create images that go beyond simply documenting the landscape. I aim to evoke a feeling, to share the awe and wonder I experience in these magnificent places.
