Available Positions:

Lead Hiking Guide:

This role requires extensive experience leading multi-day backpacking trips and possessing strong navigational skills, first aid/CPR certification, and wilderness survival expertise. Responsibilities include trip planning, risk assessment, client safety, and ensuring a positive and educational experience for participants. Candidates should possess excellent communication and leadership skills and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience leading groups in challenging terrain, including varied weather conditions, is essential. A comprehensive knowledge of Leave No Trace principles is a must. Prior experience working as a guide is strongly preferred. We'll consider candidates with experience in specific areas like mountaineering, rock climbing, or canyoning.

Assistant Hiking Guide:

Assisting our Lead Guides, this position provides valuable hands-on experience in the field. Responsibilities include assisting with group management, navigation, first aid, and maintaining camp. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic learners with a solid understanding of outdoor safety protocols and a willingness to support the Lead Guide in all aspects of the trip. While prior guiding experience is a plus, it's not strictly required. Strong physical fitness and a passion for hiking are essential. This role is a great opportunity for aspiring guides to develop their skills and gain experience.

Backcountry Support Staff:

We're also seeking individuals to provide logistical support for our hiking and backpacking trips. This could involve assisting with equipment transport, camp setup and maintenance, food preparation, and general trip logistics. While outdoor experience is beneficial, it's not a strict requirement. Candidates should be organized, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license is preferred. This is a perfect role for someone who loves the outdoors but prefers a slightly less physically demanding position while still being part of the adventure.

Photography/Videography Support:

Capture the beauty of our adventures! We are looking for someone with experience in photography and/or videography to document our trips. Responsibilities will include capturing high-quality images and videos, editing and organizing footage, and potentially assisting with social media marketing. This position requires a strong portfolio showcasing your skills, a passion for the outdoors, and an ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment. Experience with drone operation is a plus.

Qualifications:

All applicants should possess:
A passion for the outdoors and a strong commitment to Leave No Trace principles.
Excellent physical fitness and stamina.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to changing weather conditions and challenging situations.
First Aid/CPR certification (preferred, but training can be provided for some roles).
