Ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants during lessons and activities.

Preparing lesson plans and adapting them based on weather conditions and student needs.
Assessing student progress and providing constructive criticism to improve their skills.
Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and fosters a love for cross-country skiing.
Working effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other instructors and staff to ensure smooth operations.
Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
Performing basic trail maintenance and grooming as needed.
Participating in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
Assisting with administrative tasks as required, such as scheduling lessons and managing bookings.

Qualifications:
Extensive experience in cross-country skiing, demonstrating advanced proficiency in various techniques (classic and skate).
Certified Cross-Country Ski Instructor certification (e.g., PSIA, AASI, or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.
Proven ability to teach and instruct individuals and groups of varying skill levels and ages.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
First Aid and CPR certification is required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Exceptional physical fitness and stamina to endure outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Experience with winter outdoor safety and survival techniques is a plus.
