About the Role:

As a Ski Trip Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our team, responsible for providing exceptional support before, during, and after our ski trips. This is a physically demanding role requiring stamina, resilience, and a proactive attitude. You will be working closely with the trip leader and other assistants to ensure the smooth and safe execution of each trip. Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Pre-Trip Responsibilities:
Assisting with trip planning and logistics, including equipment checks, accommodation bookings, and transportation arrangements.
Communicating with clients, answering queries, and providing pre-trip information packets.
Contributing to the creation of detailed itineraries and emergency plans.
Helping with the procurement and packing of necessary supplies and equipment.
Participating in pre-trip meetings and training sessions.

On-Trip Responsibilities:
Providing logistical support during the trip, including managing transportation, accommodation, and meal arrangements.
Assisting clients with equipment needs and providing guidance on ski safety and etiquette.
Maintaining a clean and organized environment in our shared accommodations.
Monitoring client well-being and addressing any concerns or emergencies promptly.
Participating in group activities and contributing to a positive and enjoyable atmosphere.
Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals (where applicable).
Conducting basic first aid and providing support in case of minor injuries.
Documenting the trip through photos and videos (where applicable).

Post-Trip Responsibilities:
Assisting with the repacking and transportation of equipment.
Contributing to post-trip reports and feedback analysis.
Helping with the cleaning and organization of equipment.


Required Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:
Strong passion for outdoor activities, particularly skiing and winter sports. Intermediate to advanced skiing skills are essential. Experience with snowboarding is a plus.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of a multi-day ski trip in challenging conditions.
First aid/Wilderness First Responder certification (preferred but not mandatory, training can be provided).
Valid driver's license and comfortable driving in snowy conditions (preferred but not mandatory).
Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Ability to adapt to unexpected situations and problem-solve effectively.
Positive attitude, enthusiastic approach, and a strong work ethic.
