Utilize avalanche safety equipment effectively, including transceivers, probes, and shovels.
Provide first aid and emergency response as needed.
Maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere for all clients, ensuring their comfort and enjoyment.
Conduct post-trip debriefings and gather client feedback.
Maintain meticulous records of trips, including weather conditions, route information, and client details.
Contribute to the overall safety and efficiency of the guiding team.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay abreast of best practices and emerging technologies.
Assist with equipment maintenance and preparation.
Qualifications:
Certified as a backcountry ski guide by a recognized and reputable organization (e.g., AMGA, IFMGA, etc.). Please specify your certification in your application.
