After about 0.5 miles, you will reach the second waterfall, Cedar Falls. Cedar Falls is about 15 feet high and is another beautiful sight to see. There is a bridge that crosses the creek just below the falls, so you can get a closer look.
After crossing the bridge, the trail continues to follow Gulpha Creek upstream. The trail becomes less steep in this section, and there are fewer switchbacks. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach the end of the loop trail. The trail then turns and follows Gulpha Creek downstream. The trail is relatively flat for the first 0.5 miles, but it gradually becomes steeper as you go. After about 1 mile, you will reach the trailhead parking lot.
The Gulpha Gorge Trail is a beautiful and challenging hike. The trail is well-maintained and suitable for most hikers.
